Why ‘The Scream’?
With a nod to Halloween, this Autumn’s Art evening will explore the autobiographical masterpiece, created in 1893 by Edvard Munch. The iconic piece is an expressionistic construction based on Munch’s actual experience of a scream piercing through nature while on a walk, after his two companions, seen in the background, had left him.
An evening spent learning how to emulate his style, will both expand your mind and furnish you with a beautiful work of art of your very own to take home with you at the end of the night. We also encourage our budding artists to create their own version by personalising the ‘face’ in this iconic painting!
